Our Story
Circular Economy Opportunities.
Jobs & Homes:
Wild Harvest Social Enterprise Ltd has been set up to develop eco projects throughout Scotland. Our projects will provide well paid long term jobs with onsite homes also provided.
Sustainable Business Plan:
Each Eco Development will have orchards, a cafe, holiday lodges, a fruit drying plant, an early learning centre, and renewable energy projects. All the onsite projects will provide revenue to finance the cost of providing jobs and project growth.
Produce grown in the fruit farms at the eco projects will be sold to product manufacturers, with the by-products going to farms as animal feed.
Trees grown on the site will be replanted and used for flood prevention and carbon capture projects. We will also be installing a Mini Orchard in every garden in Scotland.
We have also set up a free allotments and garden harvest projects.
Sustainable Homes:
Each eco development will have its own power supply and water supply provided by renewable energy sources, with the water being supplied by water storage reservoirs constructed on site.
Our onsite homes / lodges are constructed using zero carbon recycled and replanted timber. Each lodge has solar panels, a wind turbine, battery power storage, and a Self Generator unit.
The construction of the lodges uses 90% less energy than building a traditional house and uses no hazardous building materials.
There will also be an onsite reed bed filtration system for processing waste from the eco developments.
The eco development lodges will also be used for family respite purposes.
More details on the lodges projects can be found on wildharvestlodges.com

Fruit Farm Project
Wild Harvest Social Enterprise Ltd has acquired two 50 acre sites in Inverclyde and Renfewshire for the first of 500 fruit tree farms to be created throughout in the UK. The fruit orchards will supply fruit trees to the Wild Harvest Mini Orchard Project.
Each fruit orchard will create 10 full time, long term, well paid jobs. The collective sites will create over 5000 jobs in the supply and services chain throughout the Mini Orchard Project.
Wild Harvest will soon be launching its Plant a Million Trees initiative backed by local government and companies.
This project will provide over 5,000 jobs at different locations throughout Scotland. The project will get underway in August 2020.
Tree Planting & Flood Prevention:
- Planting trees could be the answer to providing a long term solution to flooding.
- Trees act as a natural barrier to floods by providing root systems that absorb excess water created by flooding.
- Trees can be planted on riverbanks to add strength to the riverbanks and create a natural barrier to flooding.
Wild Harvest can supply, plant and maintain trees for flood prevention schemes. We recommend that fruit trees could be used as natural flood defence barriers as they would also create a natural environment for wildlife. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Tree Replacement Service:
Wild Harvest also offers a tree replacement service for utility companies, land developers/agents, architects, and construction companies.
Carbon Capture:
Each tree planted can absorb 48Ib [ 21.7724kg ] of carbon. The Wild Harvest Mini Orchards and other tree planting projects will plant and maintain over one million trees capturing over 10 million tons of lethal carbons that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.
Our planting projects will also create over 5000 new, long term, well paid jobs throughout the UK.
